pretty sure i’ve said this a million times but people still sleep on how big memeland’s reach is potatoz clips did 10M+ views this week pengu and dood back to ath but $MEME is still down 30x from ath... with the same IP engine behind it and if adoption in asia picks up, this might be one of the cleanest bets on it

It's pretty clear that Memeland is going all in on the distribution play now for their IP. Distribution leads to conversion and that's really what matters when you have a tradable asset live in the market. Looks to me like they're trying to unify the web3/crypto side of the brand with the 15+ year old distribution engine in 9GAG. Similar playbook to Rekt using drinks/RWA and Pudgy proliferation via plushies and other traditional activations.

I remember Potatoz minting right around the time I first started lurking CT. I didn't really "get" NFTs but I thought the character was funny....and then they went parabolic and I think everyone knows the rest of the story Cool that Memeland is resurrecting/reinvigorating the IP and using it as a brand unifier to link Memeland and 9GAG. Cool to see projects w/ memorable IP getting creative with ways to derive value...in this case a bridge to the massive distribution engine of 9GAG. To me this feels like a new spin on the brand coin idea that a few other projects have been successful with lately.
